OK guys have you heard about what Korean reporter Yoo Jihoon said about Ateez?!

He said that backstage at award shows are super busy & chaotic, right? But when Ateez performs (& it’s always been this way… they get nothing but better💪🏼) everyone & everything just STOPS 🛑 He said everyone stops working & gathers around the monitors so they can catch a glimpse of Ateez performing.

I’ve never heard anyone say anything even remotely similar to that about ANY Kpop performers… male, female, 4th generation, 3rd generation…. Not even bts!

That’s probably one of the reasons that the Korean Ministry of Sports, Culture and Tourism gave them the lifetime title of 4th Generation Leaders.

Another reason, ofc is talent. But they also created a whole new genre within Kpop, which most 4th & 5th gen boy groups are taking inspiration from (incredibly talented artists like Oneus, Skz, P1Harmony, etc.) and some idols, like Mirae’s Junhyuk even publicly cry at the thought of meeting their inspiration/idol who’s from Ateez.

Ateez has also been plagiarized multiple times (5 that we know of so far, I think). One criminal who BLATANTLY plagiarized Ateez’s hard earned work/intellectual property is (G)-idle’s Soyeon. She stole both the instrumental portion of the chorus to “Wave” AND the vocal portion of the chorus to “Wave” as well - which is important to note bc certain notes of the music during the chorus to “Wave” are intentionally different than the vocals and she ripped of that unique piece of their signature feel-good song bc she was bound by contract to “write” the debut song for My Teenage Girl but instead, she chose to copy & paste.

When she was caught red handed, she lied to her own fans. She only got away with it for 2 reasons:
1. Bc Ateez are such gentlemen. They said they didn’t want My Teenage Girl’s debut to be tarnished by Soyeon’s scandal so they didn’t take her to court. They just asked her to add the name of one of the composers responsible for the original Ateez song (Eden, I think?) to “Sun’s” credits so he didn’t get fkd.

2. Bc in Kpop, you can literally get away with criminal behavior if you’re popular enough.

I can’t believe she has any fans after that. Some ppl still call her “Genius Producer” 😂😂😂
Like… yall know that Geniuses have no need to plagiarize, right? I mean, why would they need to with all that talent???! And if she had even an ounce of integrity, she wouldn’t have done this in the 1st place…. AND if she woke up that day and decided she just HAD to be a criminal, she still would’ve issued a GENUINE apology for her crime…. not the bs she posted & claimed was her apology. But the thing that really got me was that she did add Eden to credits BUT when she thought nobody was looking, SHE REMOVED HIM AGAIN!!!! That’s grimy af!!! Also, adding him was an admission of guilt. Removing him was admission that she’s a piece of 💩

And that’s just one example of their experiences with being plagiarized. Another was JYPE! Ugh…. Anyway, you know you’re good when everyone in the industry is copying your moves, your creative content, your intellectual property, etc, right?!
