I 1000% do NOT agree, i was an extremely bad drug addict and alchoholic due to 5 back surgery's over 16 yrs. Had been with same girl since i was 16 and at 36 yrs old we had a hellish divorce and custody battle for 3 years and i turned to self medicating onnas much of EVERYTHING ad i could get my hands on. I knew i had to stop had to get help but i couldnt take the pain of not having my sons so i used. As soon as our custody battle was over and i "won" EXACTLY what i wanted in the first place which was my truck a bag of clothes and my 3 sons 3.5 days a week EVERY WEEK! I tried for 6 months to have both my addictions and my children and it was not working so 6 months after winning custody i said i would NEVER EVER STOP FOR ME OR ANYONE OR ANYTHING ON THIS EARTH, BESIDES MY 3 SONS AND THAT IS WHAT GOT ME TO GO TO REHAB....I WENT FOR MY SONS AND ONLY FOR THEM BECAUSE I LOVE THEM MORE THAN I LOVE EVERYTHING EVEN MY OWN SELF, THEY ARE MY WHY!!!! ..NOW BEEN 100% CLEAN ALMOST 12 YEARS NOW!!! THERE IS NOT ONLY 1 RIGHT ANSWER TO THIS PROBLEM FOR EVERYONE OTHER THAN YOU NEED TO ASK FOR HELP YOU CAN NOT DO IT ALONE

What? I got sober because I was a loser and had no money or time because I was always hung over, I wanted new relationships with people better ones with people I knew, so I gave up drinking, because it was a problem....

Am I not allowed to quit because I am tired of bringing people down?
