I'm 44. I heard this song on the radio back in the day. I don't need likes to justify this.

This was the best decade to be alive, just before the internet and cell phones ruined our life with no return to normalcy

The 1980s were just a flat out 10 out of 10 when it came to music. As a 47 year old guy who got live through this amazing decade I come to appreciate it even more when considering the state of things in America in 2021. Blessed to have been an 80s child !

I was in my brother’s hospital room (brain tumor) and he and I watched it that day in 1985. I will never forget the bond.

So iconic. ‘80s will never die. Live Aid in 1985 was a watershed memory. Paul Young is class. No auto tune or click tracks here. No cell phone interference either. Everytime You Go Away. ❤.

I was 24 years old in 1985 when live aid was staged. I watched every minute of it from Status Quo opening it with 'Rockin' All Over The World'. A remarkable day in which two performances really stood out for me. It wasn't an opinion formed later with repeated viewing. i thought it immediately afterwards, Queen and Paul Young. I hadn't realised Paul Young was such a powerful vocalist till I saw this on the day. This was an especially good performance of this song.
