I got the MDR 1000x a week ago to compare it to the SQ of the P7W since the new WH1000mx2 SQ hasnt changed much, but man the P7W is on another level. They sound much louder at lowers volumes (easier to drive), SQ is great especially compared to the MDR 1000x (bass is on point, mids are great, highs could be better). Conectivity is very reliable, never get disconnected or any distorsion, like in the MDR1000x where I have to manually reconnect my phone to the headphones everytime I want to use them. The only things I would change would be more functionalities (NC, motion sensoring), better media buttons (maybe a touchpad), and comfortability is not quite there. They are nice to wear for an hour but then I get a pressure spot on top of my head. I was thinking of returning the MDR1000x and trying the PX. Have you tried them?

Nice video, but very little information about the sound. I have them for more than a year now, and I am very happy with this sound signature, but comfort is not so good, there is noticeable preasure on top of my head after 50 minutes of listnening.

Gorgeous looking headphones. Really good specs as well, with a freq. response of 10Hz to 20KHz the audio has to be really clean and crisp. Definitely built for the audiophile especially with a $400 price tag, I am sure that they are worth the cost but too much for my wallet! Great video Dave.

Awesome simply superb headphones and I'm sure he sound would equally superb knowing Bowers and Wilkins but really past my price league but saying that I can appreciate the design and quality of can't get past the price
