while installing centos 7 there we find this particular error.
I just uploaded this ..... as the error occurred to me.....so that it would solve your issue as well....

use this .... if closest mirror not found.....

Thanks for this video i searched everywhere about this error but i was not getting anything, this video helped me alot.

Hit this problem! my issue was that in networking I set the host name and pressed apply, then configure the nic set it online, configure the IPv4, and if i do not hit apply again next to the hostname setting again, the changes are not saved, as I have no DHCP, and there will be no connection to the internet, as soon as I set the IP and applied, the repository is found and closest mirror comes up, and I install 5 Centos VM in 40 odd minutes.
