this song is the reason I feel the way I do about many things in my life and the reason I surpass sadness. Damon's music is truly one of a kind. the way his music makes me feel is absolutely sensational, because not a lot of artists have that spark with me anymore. Damon has a wild side with Blur, a completely different personality with Gorillaz (like it isn't even him) and with his solo music it's just so relaxing and emotional. I love the way he experiments with music so much, and it's always successful and unlike nothing his fans have heard before. he truly is underrated and not a lot of people recognize him where I'm from (maybe 'the woo-hoo song' or Feel Good Inc, Clint Eastwood or DARE if I'm lucky. maybe Girls & Boys) but one thing is for sure, and that is that he's a fantastic artist with so much in plan, and he deserves every last bit of his fame. Damon, if you ever read this, and I doubt you won't: you truly are a fantastic person who knows exactly what he's doing. you are very important to all of us.

Tbh I love Gorillaz and all, but the amount of people commenting about 2D really disappoints me... can't Damon be his own person and make his own music? 2D is only a small part of him, it shouldn't define him. This isn't 2D's voice, it's Damon. I thhink there should be a point where you should know how to separate reality from fiction, and this album is reality and has NO association with Gorillaz or any of the fictional characters. It's just Damon himself.

I'm a huge Gorillaz fan, and they're pretty much the first Damon Albarn-ish music I've gotten into. Then I listened to this album. Then I listened to Blur. I'm so glad there's so much work from him. It's like I can never run out of Damon Albarn.
