As Canadian, and Nova Scotian the Boer War or South African War was distant war with no links for me but there are monuments dedicated to this war doting older cities and towns including two in Halifax.
The Harper Government redicated all war memorials to the conflict.

Wow, talk about a neglected subject!! I thought the East Africa campaign of WW I was obscure, then found almost a dozen games covering it. This is only the second I've seen on the Boer War. Looks very interesting, and right up my alley.
EDIT: *Big* counters? Nice map? I'm sold!
