Margalit Moses, released by Hamas in November last year, refused to meet Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Moses turned down Netanyahu's invitation, calling it photography and a public relations exercise. She lashed out at Netanyahu for being unable to secure the release of other hostages. Moses, in a statement, said, "I would be happy to “meet you at the reception for the 109 abductees upon their return to their families."

The release of the hostages should have been his #1 priority, even though that would have required the release of prisoners whom he had called animals, whom he’d denied a trial, whom he had imprisoned for many years and in some cases tortured. He could have sought diplomatically to determine and to solve the problem then; once the hostages were released.
