This was one of the best running documentaries I have seen! I followed every second of the live stream and every time they captured you there was an energy around you. This video just kept that story going and showed all the sides. You highlighted the highs and the lows and just captured it all beautifully! Well done and congratulations on your finish!

I took up running at the start of this year aged 30 and I am so addicted with it I spend my time watching ultramarathon runs and I can’t applaud you enough on your efforts and how much it inspires me to run

Wes wins the race to get his Cocodona recap video published first! The edit was almost as epic as the race, I’m sure 😉. Can’t wait to watch this tonight.

The mental toughness it takes to get through one of these races is the most inspiring thing on earth to me. Thanks for the video. The Kerry Ward addition sealed the deal on me subscribing haha.

"This moment, this low point is what you paid your money for. This moment is what got you to this place. The only way you can get to this place is by doing something ridiculously difficult, challenging and so on. Embrace it fully, experience it and move past If that isn't the most perfectly worded running wisdom I have ever heard about the pure truth about why I run. You have to welcome the punishment as well as the beauty of each Great job Wes.

The only thing that equals actually finishing the Cocadona was depth, breadth, and beauty of your amazing video. Than you for sharing it with us!

I haven't even done a race yet but I'm glad I've finally found my thing... I've been getting about 30-40 miles a week and I feel like it's really starting to click :). Started my running journey two years ago and I lost a whole lotta weight. Gained a little back recently. All of it doesn't really matter. Getting out on the trail and enjoying nature is so damn crucial for my level of happiness. Comfort truly is a lie.
Edit: EPIC job on the run and the capture of the experience!

Whoever was yelling at start, "don't forget to smell the roses" is great !👍
But he's right, the mindset of a runner with 150 miles down, 100 to go can become pretty dark.
I would love if finishing this 250 in a certain time frame automatically qualified the individual for just one, but any ultra chosen.
