We as Texans are very proud and protective of our state, history, culture and traditions. H-E-B is our state store that always gives you sense of feeling of where you are and what you are, Texas and Texan. It’s literally our second home because we do our shopping there majority of the time and no where else.

H-E-B is so Texas-centric. They research what Texans like, and Texas knows the difference between them and national brands.

I was here in Houston TX during Hurricane Harvey where it caused about $125 billion dollars worth of damages. HEB was amazing to send in food, water, medical supplies etc everywhere. I also purchased in their stores for the whole month during hurricane recovery some very cheap basic foods like loaf of breads for .25 cents... True story: My first time in Texas I got off the plane and.went directly to meetings for about 6 hours. I was hungry as a bear waking up from a winter nap. The only place open was. H-E-B. Unlike your store the name on the building was HEB (no dots or dashes separating the letters). I called my friend and told her I was outside of " HEEEBA" and would call her back after I grabbed some food and checked into the hotel. She said she never heard of "HEEEBA" so I had to spell it out for her..She started laughing and told me to say H-E-B. So you guys are not the only one who called it something different. It's a. Texas thing. 😎🤗🤗😎

I mourned HEB the whole time I lived in other states. HEB is the best!

LOVE H-E-B!!!! Also, my mom is from Mexico and she made THE best flour tortillas. No one has come close to authentic flour tortillas except H-E-B.
