I know the feeling of having a friend in Genshin. Met and helped me on my second month, was there when I got my first limited 5 star, did a lot together, even learned to play the birthday song on the lyre for me. Then he started not playing Genshin anymore sometime around Fontaine while I stayed and... Let's just say, without getting into details, we don't talk anymore.

This reminded me of my friend who recently passed away (she took away her own life just yesterday) she was the one who introduced me to genshin and the one who helped me a lot with exploring, finding chests and many other things we did together as friends, I've always been there for her during tough times but it seems like she can't handle it anymore and sent a message (in-game) to me saying "if ur reading this I'm gone forever just know that I've always enjoyed spending time with you but i can't hold on anymore, sorry for everything... Thanks for being my friend :).." then I tried reaching out to her but she doesn't seem to respond, I cried for a whole night, i still can't believe she'd do this after everything we've been through together... It's so hard to accept..

its the way i just came back to genshin a week ago after 2 years bc my new friend asked if i play! sometimes things happen but you will meet new people and share new memories too so dont be too sad :)

Ah this is so relatable i have so much memories with friends I met back then but things change either they no longer play or we don't talk. I missed the times when co-op was just about having fun and relaxing.

This happens so much with any game whether Genshin Impact, Roblox, Minecraft, and more... Since Genshin Impact takes many years for story to complete a lot of my friends are now adults with RL things to do.

There was a friend I met once online and they were so kind.I think i was like ar 19 back then and they helped me with a lot of things.But recently back in Covid they were really sick and have been in the hospital since.I help them do their daily commisions and everyday I pray for them to get better
