It is a remastered version of the 2009 game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision. It is the sixth installment in the Call of Duty series and the direct sequel to Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare. It was released worldwide on November 10, 2009, for Windows, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360.

Yeah I noticed a lot of “smaller” YouTubers posting H2M and not any of the classics. It’s honestly so refreshing. Actually good content from this guy and other creators who can maybe expand their audience

There are two reasons.

1) Big COD Youtubers probably has a contract with Activision so going against it will get them into legal troubles and get suspended from future events.

2) Because the mod is open sourced, downloading H2M right now is very risky and can potentially put your PC in danger due to idiots putting in RCE exploits and malwares into the files. Unless, you know where to get the files "safely". It's still hard to recommend and trust it though.

Most call of duty YouTubers are shills, they'll keep their mouth shut.

They aren’t posting because they’re scared they wont get invited to the next COD event where they can play the next game early. Fake like the game is good and post goofy thumbnails of their fake reactions. Most COD content creators are just puppets to COD industry.

my only issue is servers suck. You can barely find one and only ones with space have a ping of 200+ on each one. All red pings

Ngl, this mod is really fun. Only problem is quality of life things. And not many servers, but once you do get in a game, it’s a ton of fun. I honestly got tired of cod gameplay but this was not bad at all.

This might sound odd, but i feel like the developers should've used the MW2R sounds for the gunshot sounds, as well as the reloads, cause that takes out the point of being "remastered".
