Note that this won't work if you want to select items that contain more than 1 word. It will just display a blank list.

For instance, in the example in the video, if the 'Alabama' column header was replaced with 'The Great State of Alabama' - the data validation formula would break because Defined Names must only be one word.

You would need to store 'The Great State of Alabama' as 'TheGreatStateofAlabama', then change the Data Validation Source formula to substitute the spaces out using something like =INDIRECT(SUBSTITUTE(A2, " ", "")). This would allow the secondary pick list to bring in the cities in The Great State of Alabama.
