Converted the fizzy to LEDs. They blew though, so I am still trying to fix the issue. I changed the rectifier and still they blew. If anyone has any suggestions, would love to hear them.

Thanks for watching, ride safe and subscribe!

I am converting my SS50 to all 12v and led bulbs. On ebay you can get booster modules to take 6v to 12v but I am taking the alternator ac output, rectifying to dc, then boost to 14-15v, charge the new 12v battery with that. Then direct from the battery via ignition switch power all electrics, so change all bulbs to 12v led, new horn, new flasher relay. For less tfan £50 you can do all that and be much safer. But getting good led bulbs from ebay is trial and error. Some are not bright and most headlamp bulbs do not dip properly. But after many refunds I have got great bulbs.

You can of course get 6v led bulbs!

I'm guessing you could try soldering on a resistor to drop the voltage going to the led's but you'd have to bear in mind resistors get hot if in constant use. Don't quote me on any of this though.
