Biological immortality and extending the limit of the human lifespan. The first immortal human has already been born.
How far are we in understanding aging and death? Do we have to age or is it a matter of a choice? What is the future of immortality? Is it possible to be immortal and if yes - how far are we in implementing medical treatment and technology that can forestall this natural process we have always thought "is just how life is".
In this video I am reviewing the cutting-edge technologies and the pioneers in the field of extending life expectancy and reaching immortality eventually. Hint: is it closer than you might imagine!

I can’t imagine why anybody wouldn’t want to live forever. You can spend 2000 years learning how to skateboard then another 5000 learning how draw. You can learn and perfect so many things. Imagine being a master at 50 different things a TRUE master.

The only reason I want to live longer is so I don't miss out on everything. I want to see just how far we push technology or if we ever colonize other planets or just die out

I think most people, including me, want to live forever just to see humanity develop, or die out or whatever. We just don't want to miss out on that stuff

Living through multiple civilizations would be so thrilling to experience.

All I want is my mother to live a little bit longer 😞

I have been following the work of Dr. Sinclair for some time now. And, in fact, have been taking the supplements that his labs and others doing research on aging, are developing. I stopped eating most processed foods 35 years ago. I gave up smoking around that time also. Admittedly I don't exercise as much as I should, however, I am much more active than my peers. Although I am 75, I have the numbers of a 25-year-old. My goal is to live a healthy life until I reach 120. At that time, I will be prepared to go to my permanent sleep. Why would one want to become sickly and frail? I certainly don't...

I am 38 but still looks 21, my plan is to reach atleast a whooping 300 years old. I wanna see how this planet last.

Nobody can beat entropy.
But getting to stay in one's biological 20s for several decades sure would be nice. 🤔

I think the key to immortality is being alive at every tech revolution and our generation has a very good chance of being alive at these revolutions since the average age increases about 1 year every 5 years. In my opinion nanotechnology and 3d printing organs have the highest success factor since we are already developing these kind of. I also think that all these things I listed above will be very far advanced in about 20 years ( just remember that the smartphones we all are using weren't there 20 years ago).

We are living in a pretty spectacular time in history. Regardless of what happens I'm really curious to see what happens next

I think for us Gen Z, we are really born on that edge of ''it will be possible'' or ''it will not be possible'' in our lifetime. While science is making progress fast, it is not making progress *that* fast. The only way i can see us getting to the point where immortality is possible, is by ''lifting'' on recent longevity developments like Blood Transfusions, Gene Editing, SENS, etc. and hopefully that extends our life to the point where we manage to live to the discovery of immortality. But that is only if funding for life extensions/immortality continues.

I just want to live without scaring of limit time. At least I want to have right to live or end my life. I don’t wanna be force taken by death

We need to live longer because space is big and getting to distant planets takes a long time.

I particularly believe that the sense of purpose would increase if we were not mortal. At least it happens to me that I tend to get depressed when I think about everything I can achieve in this life, but that in the end one day I will die and I won't even know that I ever existed and that I did everything I did. If I knew that I am not going to die, I would know that I have an eternity to contemplate the good I have done and correct what has gone wrong.

This is an incredibly important endeavor and also what I'm dedicating the rest of my life to. Should we make it to an ageless society we will be entirely free from the chains of reality and enjoy our life's as we always should have. That is my answer to the question at the end.

Even if you became biologically immortal that doesn't mean you're invulnerable to accidents
