Last year, we embarked on an initiative dubbed “standing with the Girls” aimed at providing simple solutions to keep girls in school during menstrual cycle. This initiative has so far distributed kits in Marigat, Baringo County schools in Angurai (Busia County), Magunga (Homabay County) and Kegonga-Ntimaru (Migori County). The initiative seeks to improve school attendance and performance for the girl child.
Through this initiative, World Vision Korea has started a public engagement and advocacy initiative with the theme “Hope for the flowers” to fundraise for the project in Angurai, Busia county. Join us on 28th May to celebrate World Menstrual Hygiene day with a theme, “#Menstruation matters to Everyone, Everywhere”
