They really have been channeling a more Crosby stills Nash and young sound with their song losing something and this,
Very creative a very nice departure from what's going on now in psychedelic rock
There's been more synth pop influence with temples and tame impala I love the path those bands took to finding their individuality and I also love the path these guys are taking it's making this new ambitious generation of music sound a little more distinguished
Not that what has been made is bad and even in the time I would consider a lot of it to be still good
I just really enjoy that as somebody who is young I can say this is MY generation pushing the envelope taking influence from older acts and new acts
Can't wait for the new record :)
