This is the earliest contemporary song I remember from my childhood, and this was the very same performance (albeit on a black & white TV). My big brother recorded the audio on a reel to reel which I used to listen to. I would have been about four so you can forgive me singing along “I went out to see a fire…”

I saw Split End at Kent university 1977 does any one know who they were supporting? I remember my girl friend and i were In hysterics at their manic antics at the time but now respect the songwriting genius
