4:30 you should be able to make the resized block into seperate blocks so after you resize it itll turn into block so if its like a giant doorway you can delete the bottom middle

2:25 im not 100% sure but i think the OR gate turns on when anything linked to it is powered, but it will only set out a single power signal no matter what (eg only putting 1 counter on the digital display no matter how much stuff connected to it is powered)

Hey Ernie, I'm trying to make a system/minigame where they'll be lasers and a timer, basically the lasers will be off, and there's a timer for how long there off for, and then once the timer is at 0:00 they'll be on for a couple of seconds and then they'll be off again, and it will repeat (there'll also be a sound for when the lasers are about to turn off or on) does anyone know how to make something like this? I've tried before but it didn't work

Since u know placing windows and a item behind it players can just angle their cam through the window to just grab the item but
you can place thin transparent blocks resize and then move it inside the window then the transparent blocks will become invisible for some reason.. And then now players can’t do the angle camera! 😊

Idk if I’m way too experienced with build mode, but I was watching this and thinking, ‘No way is it that simple and they got it wrong.’

Amazing tips video! Very entertaining to watch and even though I don't use Build Mode, I understood each mistake and solution adequately as to improve when I do make a map in like 2029. Your videos always make my day dude and everybody feels welcomed in each one you make! :)
Can't wait for the skin quest tutorial when it comes out and I also crossed 'meet a YouTuber in a game' off my bucket list yesterday too! (I was the Faceless Noob skin and the one who stole that kill as Felix)

0:06 you can fix this mistake without having to remove the lasers.
just make an invisible wall and move it so the laser is inside it.
this isn't exactly a perfect solution, and the powered death block solution is definitely better,
but if you REALLY need to use the lasers for killing the players (whether it be stylistic choice or smth else),
this is how i'd do it.

1:13 also, it's a lot easier to put a couple invisible walls around the piggy says area than what you suggested.
as with the last one, it's not perfect, as it will require the piggy to gain enough energy to place traps down,
assuming they still need to, but:
A. you can have the infinite energy technique with the invisible walls if you want to
B. i'd still prefer to use this method since it's quicker overall

by the way if you still want to use lasers to kill people you can !! just make the lasers far enough so people can’t jump on them and they work perfectly fine. very useful for boss maps if you don’t wanna make custom attacks!!
