A lot of the features found in the 12 are also available in the 12 Pro (Retina Display XDR, A14 Bionic). If you don't need the extra camera features then perhaps the standard 12 should be enough! I will say the 12 Pro feels so much more lux with the stainless steel banding! Let me know which device you are picking up and enjoy my 2nd vid of the day!

Great video! Just one correction: the displays of the 12 and 12 Pro are NOT the same. The 12 Pro has 800 nits max brightness (typical), the 12 has 625 nits max brightness (typical). Just the HDR brightness is the same at 1200 nits.

I'm a little nervous about the MagSafe charger leaving scratches on the back over time. I also don't see how it's any more convenient than an ordinary charging cable so I may just stick with the lightning cable for now
