Using the Dewalt power inverter DXAEPI1000 1000w power inverter with a wire mod to run it cooler

Great test video, I have a old husky 750 Wats that I use to charge my cordless tools batteries, I'm working on getting a 2000 Wats to be able to run my air compressor I hope it works, thanks for you video

I think its running cooler because the car is running and the alternator and battery can deliver 100 amps to the inverter.... I think the amperage draw on the battery and the crappy connection of the gator clips caused the DC voltage to drop and the inverter had to fight to keep it going.... I'd run the truck when using it.... Or get a Honda EU2000 inverter generator... NEVER had an issue with the honda

Curious: is there a way to have the inverter lead into my car interior while the hood could also close and the wire not be hanging? Im looking for a way to have the inverter in my front seat at the very least so I can use a small heater and my laptop. (I am currently living out of my car and looking for the best ways to save money / survive. My heat / fan doesn’t work)

If you do the math, , , 1000 watts /12 Vdc = 84 amps... You need #3 AWG from the battery playboy.... Get new car audio battery terminals, install a fuse as close to that, , , then run #3 welding cable to the inverter.... Run the truck when your using it so you don't starve the input side of the inverter of voltage and current. Input needs to have plenty to give to the output side

A short cord hook to the battery will also give you better performance

Would you recommend buffing a small car with the buffer tool with a 1000V pwr inverter? Maybe a 2000V inverter is the mid-range practical one for simple power tools.
