Sunoj D, b. 1979 in Pallipuram, Kerala.
Lives and works in Bangalore.
Sunoj D studied painting at the Karnataka Chitrakala Parishat and graduated in 2003. He obtained a post-graduate degree in print-making in 2006 from Bangalore University.
His work has been exhibited in many cities, including Shanghai, Mumbai, London, Dubai, and New Delhi.
In this video, he speaks about 'Zero to the Right', his sound and drawing installation at the Kochi-Muziris Biennale 2014. Sunoj presents anew the numbers and ideas we are in touch with everyday, making material what otherwise has the form of pure exchange value.
