Thanks so much for this, there were no instructions in my box either, I had the larger one of this same type. No manual, no wires, and some panic. The QR code on the box takes you to no help at all. It's unbelievable how much easier it is once you've seen it done, and it makes you look like a hero in your family's eyes, lol.

Just bought this and knew right away I would be going to YouTube to figure out how to install. Your instructions were so complete, I got this light up right the first time! (Which for my DIY is a record!)

Good video, lots of good tips. Id recommend using a box bushing where the Lithonia wires come through the connection box, those edges are sharp. Ideally one would use a NM clamp or Romex clamp.

Excellent. I picked up this "contractors select" which must translate to no instructions. Much faster install watching the vid compared to me staring at it before the notches made sense.

Video was great. I got mine at Lowes and the drop ceiling light (without mounting bracket) is on the shelf with the flush mount (with the bracket). I live 45 minutes away from Lowes. Guess which one I brought home. The box had a label over the note about the bracket. Thanks so much.

I don't have a junction box, just wires through a small hole in the ceiling. Will I need to cut out an area in the sheet rock to recess the wires back or does the bracket give enough space to tuck the wires between the light and ceiling ?

So when this goes out for whatever reason. Do you have to replace the whole fixture??

Thank you for the helpful video! I'm going to be a little pedantic; those numbers on the CCT are selections for color temperature, not brightness. 3000K is warm, closer to the old incandescent bulbs, 4000K is a little less warm, and 5000K is white. Once you get up past 5000K, there's more blue in the light and down below 5000K you notice more yellow in the light. I personally also like 4000K for inside the house.

Could you please suggest how to wire shop/ceiling Fluorescent Lights into an ordinary outlet?

Great learning video, downside to this light is you can’t switch the color light without climbing up to change it, it should of came with a remote

The wire is thin. Put electrical tape around the punch out hole. When I lifted the fixture up in place it scraped the wire and shorted out. Had to return.

Yes, like the last commenter... exactly what I

You should consider taping the wire nuts with 3M 33+ as a safety precaution to prevent unscrewing. If the wire nut DOES pop off for whatever reason, the wire is held by the tape.
