Browns Peak -- Four Peaks -- FULL scramble footage

4/3/22 -- I had done this once before with snow and ice in the gully up, and it was pretty sketchy. I was back this time to film it. This is a great short beginner scramble type hike. Highly recommend hitting the high point of the four peaks wilderness. I came back to do the traverse the following year and here is the link for that:

So sad because of the fire that burned all those beautiful trees!! It used to be a small beautiful pine Forest up there and there was actually a lot of shade in some areas because of those trees!

I did this hike about 50 years ago. There was a metal box (reset) at the top of the peak that was cemented into a small group of jagged rocks with a lid and a hinge. Inside of it was a book and a pencil for writing your thoughts about the hike and the view. It was a great diversion and reward to read everyone else's comments while resting a bit before heading down. Some funny, some very poignant as well. Oh, and the cactus. I was a bit surprised how close you were putting your hands to the cactus (and knew it was only a matter of time), since that stuff will shed a bit and be on the ground and the rocks around the cactus. Good for you on making the hike.

I went left several times earlier on making it more sketch than it had to be, haha. Although I didn't know it until coming down and I was like. "oh, yeah, oops." Great video man, you slayed it.
