Play/sing in front of others, it’s the fastest way to learn and develop. Don’t just hide away and practice in your room. Even just performing in front of friends and family will help you improve a lot faster (even if you don’t feel you’re very good). Then open mics and the odd gig can be really good experience. Don’t hide away!

Don’t give up!! If you lack motivation to practice, you can reduce the amount of time you spend practicing temporarily, as long as you still get *some* practice in regularly. Practice other related skills that can transfer over instead of just grinding one aspect at a time, namely, for singers such as myself, breath work, form, technique, recovery, etc. Spending hours upon hours just singing can only get you so far if you aren’t familiar with the fundamentals
