the AI behavior is very basic. They don't take cover or anything. Just stand still or walk towards. Always disappointing to see how little enemy AI has progressed from games like FEAR or even Halo

Its pretty barebones, but still pre-alpha. I have high hopes for the devs to make it great, maybe even better than Tarkov. Because right now it has lot more polish and content than Tarkov had at the start.

I want this game to go well soooo badly. I had not heard of it, but all this footage has me salivating. If this was fleshed out, with unlockables, extraction gameplay, different types of missions, buildings and areas with fun exploration, this could be top tier.

as barebones as it is i feel like it is more promising than many others of its kind

Everyone hating or disregarding the game has to realize, this isn’t even early access yet, to be this put together and this functional before it even reaches early access is very promising. Obviously time will tell and we will see how efficiently and effectively they are able to roll out updates/fixes/features but for a play test this looks absolutely phenomenal. Take arma reforger for example, which I love, it hit early access in a MUCH more barebones rough state than this and it’s finally shaping up to be a great tactical shooter, this is already leaps ahead for how early it is. If you don’t like realistic tactical shooters then this was never gonna something you liked, but for fans of tarkov, insurgency, squad, arma, this game has all of us eagerly awaiting our chance to dive in with friends. And I know it’s a big ask but I really hope Microsoft takes notice and attempts to help these devs bring this over to console as well. Tactical shooter genre has so much untapped potential for console players, especially older players that don’t enjoy the speed of cod, Fortnite battlefield and apex or the sweat of siege. For whatever reason console devs seem to forget that we have always loved realistic tactical shooters especially with an emphasis on coop. Both rainbow six Vegas games and the graw games live on till this day with players doing coop t hunt and campaigns. This is just a larger step in the right direction from a those games and I’m hoping and praying for this game to succeed

I feel like it’s a good start. The atmosphere is undeniably good. Some parts of the map feel empty but the POIs look good. The factions are a good idea, that if flushed out and expanded on, could be a really cool element. For it being pre alpha it’s at a good spot. Definitely needs to be optimized better and maybe have specific gear for certain factions making it easier to tell each one apart. I’ve got in some situations where I’ve shot a friendly running towards me or coming out of some bushes because cus you can’t tell.

Now, what we need is some attack helicopters, some quads, maybe some mwraps, maybe a spawn beacon, and we can also cap objectives, and it's the Battlefield we all requested years ago.

if they make the ai work and optimise the game, this could be a very good game, the ballistics simulation is absolutely crazy with all the ammunition variants and weapons.

Game looks awesome. More of this please. Great watching you two play this. The "could of taken out of someone's internet" part made me laugh so much. ( I know Jack's internet was outed by a tree recently I believe it was)
