Honor 70 Unboxing | Stunning Mid-Range Smartphone

Unboxing the Honor 70 5G, a gorgeous mid-range smartphone boasting fresh Sony camera tech, strong pro gaming abilities, impressive battery life and solid specs. This Honor 70 hands-on review shows off that tech, which should be hitting the UK soon!

Like the Nothing Phone 1, this handset is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 778G Plus chipset (with 5G support). Gamers will love the pro performance on Genshin Impact, PubG and other top Android titles, helped by GPU Turbo X smarts. The Honor 70 should also serve up long battery life, rocking a sizeable cell despite its skinny design.

This smartphone is unique thanks to the 54MP Sony sensor used to capture photos and video, as well as Honor's new video tools. Hoping to review the Honor 70 soon, and reveal exactly how good the camera is.

You also get a crisp, punchy OLED screen, although the mono speaker setup is rather basic. This emerald version of the Honor 70 is beautiful, with a choice of three other colours if you're not impressed.

Am I ready to take a Huawei... I mean Honor phone into my heart again after so long? To be honest, I loved every single Huawei phone I owned and even still have my Mate 20 Pro. I kind of missed the polish and build quality since then, here's hoping Honor can achieve similar.

I bought a Honor view 20 back in 2019 when I fell in love with the display model in John Lewis. It was the best phone I had ever had until last night when it got stolen. I went into the three store to get another SIM and browsed the phones on display and I found this Honor 70. I didn't want to even look at any other phones even though there were more affordable ones, simply because I knew how amazing these phones were. I bought a 256gb and took It home. I had lost all my contacts and files because I got it erased from Google but the Honor system had everything in back up. I was so relieved. The actual phone is amazing. The camera is excellent and watching videos is really nice and it's like watching it on an Oled TV. Honor is an underappreciated brand, I was surprised of the cost hike but I read about them going independent which makes sense. However, you still get more than what you pay for.

I'm still using this honor 70 after two years and it is and has been a terrific phone for under £400, battery life still excellent and charges 10 to 100% in 50 mins.

I've been searching for Huawei phones with google services. It's a good thing honor became an independent lineup, and still has google services. This will be my next phone

I used the Honor 8 few years till 2019, it's battery failed, I replaced battery, but the US embargo prevent me downloading OS. Replaced with OP7 Pro. But it's camera was so nice! Glad to see Honor back! Great video!

Just received one of these and reasonably impressed. Have noticed however that the charging socket is compatible with Samsung chargers, not the older or more recognised charger. I also recently purchased an adaptor for connecting headphones into the charging socket for my Samsung phone and which works perfectly well with the Honor Pad 8

I just bought one of these as my sony finally broke and I'm quite impressed. And am now thinking not bothering to up grade when due. For the price point very impressive

Stunning phone which just got that prestigious EISA award Best Buy smartphone in 2022 🏆. Honor 70 already reviewed here in Finland🇫🇮 and both cameras were stellar! Far far better than Samsung Galaxy A52s with OIS. So OIS isn't everything, not at all. New Nokia X30 had like 3 days of glory and then it got crushed by Honor and the 3 new stunning Motorolas too: Edge Ultra, Edge Fusion, Edge Neo... all of them beats Nokia X30 hands down. X30 also costs much more than Honor 70 because it doesn't have a charger or a case either in the box as this Honor. And Nokia X30 has disappointing specs with Snapdragon 695, no stereo speakers, no SD card, no 4K video recording either, and much slower charging speed, and it looks quite ugly too especially on the backside with its camera module ugliest of the year award from me.

Beeing unable to swipe anywhere to bring notification down is such a stupid decision, bravo. And The hole punch? I personally rather pull the popup camera literally with my fingers once a month than see the black dot the entire time.

Using it for two weeks and it's really excellent phone for it's price. i wasn't happy as honor 70's phone while i am using realme gt2 pro. Definitely king of mid range. 👑

This is going to be my next upgrade! I love the unique design to the camera layout which makes it stand out! Beautiful specs for a mid-range smartphone . The camera specs are very good especially with the sony sensor! Definitely a fan of this phone!

The launcher is based on emui rather than colour OS. Infact it IS emui. I'm convinced Honor is still Huawei. They've just hoodwinked the yanks with this phoney "sale" of the company 😉. Great review Chris
