The Baloch in Pakistan are a very diverse ethnic group. They are not just found in one province but four provinces, in fact in Pakistan's case there are more ethnic Baloch living outside of Balochistan than inside. Of the demographics of the province of Sindh the ethnic Baloch are thought to make 30-40% of it's population, it is estimated that there are about 10 million or so ethnic Baloch living in the Punjab province of Pakistan mostly concentrated in the Saraiki belt and within the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa the Baloch are thought to inhabit the Southern most districts of Dera Ismail Khan and Tank. The Baloch of Pakistan are also linguistically diverse as Balochi is not the only language they speak, within the province of Balochistan they speak around six languages that being the Southern Dialect of Balochi (Makrani dialect), the Northern Dialect of Balochi, the Eastern Dialect of Balochi (Sulaimani dialect), the Brahui language (yes that's right the Brahui are not a different ethnicity, they are ethnically Baloch), while the Dehwari tribe of the Baloch speak the Iranian Dehwari language and the Khetran tribe speak the Indo-Aryan Khetrani language. The Baloch of Sindh mainly speak the Sindhi language while some living in the South Western coastal region speak Makrani Balochi. The Baloch in Punjab mainly speak the Saraiki language while some living in the Punjabi speaking areas speak Punjabi, there are some balochi speakers in Punjab as well but they are entirely found in the South. The Baloch in the province of KPK also speak Saraiki. There are also some ethnic Baloch of African descent among the Baloch as well (all of them live in the Southern coastal regions) they are locally known as the Sheedi and are descendants of slaves brought to the region as part of the East African slave trade, their tribe is known as the Qambarani derived from Qambar the freed slave of the first Shia Imam and fourth Sunni Caliph, they have actually brought an African blend to the coastal Baloch culture the prime example of which is the Lewa dance a traditional East African dance now associated with the Baloch, the actual Baloch dance of Chap is primarily found in the Northern, Central and Eastern parts of the Balochistan province while the Jhumar is popular among the Baloch populous in Punjab.
