I've been looking forward to DiRT Rally 2.0 ever since it's announcement. Last week I finally got a chance to play it.

For every good improvement Codemasters make (physics in this case), there is always a catch;

- AAA priced game with 5 locations, no snow and paid DLC already confirmed (you got 6 locations+snow in DR1 for cheaper)
- No steep mountainous stage at release (meaning very few tight hairpins which are an awesome part of rallying)
-No WRC cars from previous decades (2000s etc)
-Only 15km of unique road per country (same as DR - based on official reddit post)

So basically, it seems like we got both an improvement and downgrade over DR. Hopefully I turn out to be wrong.

This doesn’t seem enough of an improvement from DR1 to justify buying this. Definitely on the fence and will wait to see what the official reviews say when it’s released, good honest impression jimmy

VR in DR1 was why I first got a wheel, so without the VR I will not be getting it, as there is just no point without the immersion of VR.
