We all saw videos like this of ETH, Jose and Van Gaal prior to being hired by united and the same things were said about them, they all subsequently got sacked having not lived unto prior reputation and ability, what makes this different ?

Sporting confirmed today to the Portuguese Securities Market Commission, as it is obliged to do, that Man. United is preparing to pay 10 million euros to sign Rúben Amorim. Although it has not confirmed the coach's departure, the club refers to the contractual terms for the sale. Therefore, it seems clear that today will be the last game that Rúben Amorim will play in charge of the team. As a Sporting fan, I feel sad that we are losing the best Portuguese coach since Mourinho. But I can only wish him luck. The Portuguese league was already too small for him, and these things happen not only to players. This rise is completely deserved. I just hope that MU and the fans know how to make the most of the gem of a coach and person they have just signed.
