I just started Misfit Market. I could pick my items and could pick more than one item. I ordered meat, which was packed with a frozen pack and in a very thick cold-pack bag. I was happy with my first shipment.

You can substitute up to 5 items with Farmbox Direct. Depending on your location Misfit does not ship well. Farmbox packages well and this probably increases the price due to labor cost.

I almost bought misfit but I found the website confusing . Also not a lot of choice . I ended up getting hungry they have so many options I actually have a list of foods that I never want and a list of foods that I always want as they package them for me so I don't have to choose all the time I found you delightful. And instructive. And you made me laugh a lot

I am subscribed for the Madness Box for Misfits and received 5 boxes. They mistakenly sent the small Mischief Box for the second and fifth box. It took 2 weeks and several emails from me to get a response for the first mistake and a day or two for a response for the second mistake. I asked them to send me the remainder (the difference between the two box sizes), but they only refunded the difference. The Mischief at $22 plus $5 shipping is not worth the price, however the Madness box ($35 plus $5 shipping) is worth it for me to subscribe.I can't pick my produce and get several items that I don't like. I am sticking with it for now with the hope that they will let me pick my box. I live less than 90 miles from their facility, and it still takes 4 days for shipping. I hope they will improve their customer service.

Kathy I gotta say that’s one big Misfit haul! I didn’t like the way the greens looked but still you get a deal. I may try Misfits again because it looked like it was packed better than mine was.

Misfits is good with first problem. If second problem they will not answer you. I had a box on July 1st with multiple moldy/rotted produce and did not receive add ons I paid for. The next boxes were great fresh and flavorful. They still have not responded after 3 emails. Be aware .

My package from Farmbox Direct was packed on June 9, and showed up a week later on the 16th. Everything was warm, and some things were too ripe. The kale was discolored. The avocados were mushy. They gave me a $10 credit on a future order. I would not risk another order from them. Thanks, but no thanks!!

Have you tried sun gold cherry tomatoes? I love them. 1st box was expensive I could probably buy the same amt at Mom's market at that price. It's all about convenience and also safety now.

To me there is no comparison between the two suppliers. When I received my Misfits, the entire contents were dumped in the one big bag closed up, and “mail call!!!” It was on its way to me. I have always been on the side of who cares if my carrots have two or three legs, or my celery would be mostly root...in fact I loved it like that.

Farm box isn’t available here, I subscribed to misfits market I was happy with my first box.
