In this video, Chris Hodges makes some statements which are just not true, and we are going to examine them closely by the word of God. In matters such as this, we are commanded by scripture to expose error. We are living in the last days and it's very important that we warn others and inform them on what's being taught, and the doctrine behind organizations like ARC Churches.

Here In Louisiana, Dino Rizzo previously pastored at Healing Place Church and now is on the board at The Church of The Highlands. Both Dino Rizzo and Chris Hodges' doctrine will be examined by God's word in this video and we ask that you would search the scriptures diligently for in them, you will find the truth and life. Pastor Chris hodges is a man just like you! People are not perfect but Jesus is! my favorite thing about Pastor Chris is he always encourages to read the scriptures for yourself, He has said verbally, Do not take my word for it, At the end of the day you must allow The Holy Spirt to lead and Guide you into the arms of Christ.. I have went to many Churches!For the first time I now have a real relationship with Christ! I am thankful for COTH, may God continue to bless them with much success 🙌! Brother let's weigh the table. Your picking few verses to try to disprove his ministry and what he has done in the world. He encourages Everyone to follow, worship and Praise Jesus . I feel In my heart instead of "Feeding God's Sheep. Your trying to divide and pull new christians back on the progress they have made by following this Pastor Chris. No one is blameless but Jesus Christ. Why try to pull people following Jesus at any Level away if the "end is near". I'm not judging you I'm simply saying"appoint" means to direct assign, order. I have been a part of the Church of the Highlands for two years. During this time I learned a lot under Paster Chris I have served in three different states after disasters during this time. Watching this video it doesn't relate to what Chris teaches. Church of the Highlands is the first church I have been a part of that starts every year with twenty-one days of prayer and again in August is another twenty-one days of prayer. This has created great value in my relationship with God my father. Being a part of a church that meets at 6:00 am for twenty-one days to worship and pray for direction and focus in their life and spiritual relationship is life-changing. I haven't met a person of such integrity and wisdom as Pastor Chris Hodges. When I saw this video, I couldn't believe it. How can someone spend 40+ minutes talking negatively about him? We already have enough division outside the Big "C" church, and wasting time and resources on videos like this only saddens me. I can't do anything but bless you, my dear brother, and pray for your soul. We should be encouragers, not the opposite. If you have an issue with your brother, go talk to him/her in private and resolve the matter as brothers in Christ. It doesn't say anything about sharing your immature arguments against your brother in Christ with the world. We need to grow up, CHURCH, and stop stabbing each other in the back! Wake up, church... Wake up! Matthew 22:34-40 states, "Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself." Are you free from sin to throw the first stone? Hmm, I'd love to hear your answers, but don't bother. It's better to take this to God and let Him guide you on what needs to be done. WWJD?

The very first thing you disproved of in this let's us viewers know you're not paying attention.Pastor Chris did not say that God said we would not suffer. He said we will not suffer God's wrath. Those are two completely different things.

I do not live in Birmingham Alabama, never have been to the Church of the Highlands. I am established in a very sound on fire church for Christ, as a Christian be careful what you say !!! and who you try to tear down because if you're a Christian like you claim that you are, you know that you, will be judged exactly the same. Nobody gets to judge only God, that he will judge you exactly the same way. I also have listened to many many many of Chris Hodges messages I never heard him say anything in the context the way you're saying it I've heard him talk about all things, never never heard him saying anything in the context that you're saying. But brother, I pray for you as well I pray deeply for you. You should concentrate on loving the Lord and keeping his Commandments you do not get be judge. I’ve NEVER heard anyone preach on SIN at the church of the highlands!! Never!! This man preaching the word!! From the Bible!! Whatsoever y’all think means nothing if it’s not lined up against the WORD OF GOD!! Preach SIN TOO!! After years of hearing his teachings he clearly asks us to repent and run away from sin, within context he is staying you don’t have to be perfect to start a relationship with God. He teaches to ask God to grow our convictions and for us to live our lives holy and pleasing to God so we can live in His will. You have a deeply flawed understanding of the words you hear. Knowing him personally I see only good fruit come out of his life, he has many restrictions and convictions over his life to keep himself accountable and right with God, more than anyone I’ve ever know. He exudes love, truth, peace, gentleness, and discipline better than anyone I know. You however have a pedantic heart and the fruit of your life is division, hatred, deceit, and lies. He is calling people into a community of believers to be discipled and loved. You are calling people to a place of division, resentment, criticism, and self deprecation. He teaches truth in love, and you spit lies in haste and hatred. Focus on your heart and remember above all the fruits is love which binds them together. God calls us to lift others up and he will condemn those who stray. Those who separate the church are separating the body of Christ. Take time to be aware of the plank in your own eye, your sight will be restored and you will stop misleadingly pointing out specks in the eyes of others.

I go to highlands and since I have been going I went from smoking weed and drinking and being as far away from God as possible, to craving his presence in my life and seeking relationship with Jesus every single day. I have quit drinking, nicotine, smoking and all other sorts of bad choices since my decision to make Jesus the lord of my life and I feel so free! Chris Hodges did not save me but he lead me to my savior, and for that I am forever thankful. Even tho I know I’m saved and even tho I have nothing before my God and seek his plans for my life, I still sin. I don’t plan to sin, nor do I enjoy when i fall and sin, but the important thing is what you do afterwards. It’s really about having a repentant heart but still choosing to crucify your sin daily. And even then, you will still sin. Look at David who was a man after Gods own heart… he committed gross and atrocious sin, while knowing that he was favored by God, but he always repented, for in his heart he desired the Lords presence in his life above all else.

This could be the most taken out of context message I have ever listened to (which I am regretful that I wasted my time doing so). To support your "taking down" of men who are doing amazing things in the name of God by citing shreds of Scripture is not only sad, but quite scary. As others have said, I will pray for you.

Why is this guy on YouTube saying these things? Why is he not directly going to Chris Hodges. How is this a wise or biblical approach. How does this glorify God? How does this advance the His kingdom with the nonbeliever?

This is to much to unwrap here . But I sure hope that you don't take God's word out of context as horrible as you did Pastor Chris's. Pastor Chris absolutely teaches that we must REPENT (turn from sin ) when we receive and put our faith in Jesus ! You took a couple of small clips and absolutely blasted a Godly pastor (not a perfect pastor) but a pastor that loves God and loves people . Church of the highlands welcomes everyone and tries to lead them to a relationship with Jesus where He will do a great work in them and clean their life up vs a church that expects a person to clean themselves up before they are willing to lead them to Jesus . Remember, Jesus hung out with sinners and changed their lives . He even chose sinners as his disciples and they didn't become perfect and sinless . The only thing that made them worthy was their faith and trust in Jesus and it was weak . Shouldn't the Church welcome sinners or should we only let the sinless people enter ? If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

Jesus said let he who is without sin cast the first stone but no one did because we have all sinned and continue to sin in our imperfection which is how god made us. So do we turn our backs and judge when sinners desire to change and come to god or celebrate the return of the prodigal son? Do we condemn those who interpret the word differently than we do, which is everywhere through the church? I think such judgements are not ours to make. God is love and desires all of us in his house and I for one intend to be there despite the mistakes I make on my journey there.

3 weeks ago I was baptized at COTH.. My Story: in 2011 I went to jail a wiccan and came out a Christian. While I was in jail it was recommended that I go to a Bible based church. So I started looking for a Bible based church and in 2014 I found COTH.. I tested the "waters" for 10 yrs and made the decision to get baptized the first Sunday of July 2024. One of the things I really like about COTH is they have a prison ministry, that meant a lot to me.

I've been in an ARC related church for over 6 years and have been a believer for over 30 years. I have reviewed a number of Chris' teachings on video and, am currently in a "Freedom Group " using ( of course) Chris' book " Freedom". Freedom has to be one of the most misleading and least researched book I've read in quite some time.
Chris' reads his OWN agenda into a number of biblical texts and takes some and flips them upside-down. I pray that HE would have a meeting with the Holy Spirit and get his discernment back . AS WELL as other ARC leaders that havent noticed the BAD theology of Freedom.
