Those DFPlayer Mini's are awesome for sound fx. They can be hooked up directly to a speaker (mono) or from the DAC pins to ear buds (stereo). Very easy to set up. Can produce some noise unless a couple of 1k resistors are hooked up between it and the Arduino.

I know the connector pins you are talking about, but I think they are more for desoldering parts. Evidently the part pin goes up the centre, but I usually just pull the part and pop it through the hole to unblock it.

Hey, what was that flipping motion you did during flight? It felt like camera switch or something.

Ive found the steel desoldering needles without the holes in them to be more useful than those when you accidentally cover up a through hole since it works better at clearing it than solder wick.
