The castle on the cliff, always alive with dance and music at night. Though a face would never be seen around during daylight, for the face would burn. Vampires inhabited this castle, and they threw the best parties... Humans were invited, and only the brave would dare to step foot near the castle. Most knew the dangers, and considered them just that. But Kieran- he was a curious man. He wouldn’t rest until he got the chance to dance among the mythical people.

Kieran had gotten entry to the ball, and felt eyes on his neck. He wasn’t surprised at all, for everyone knew necks were a vampire’s favorite place to drink from. In fact, Kieran was hoping to be drank from. He wanted to know what it felt like.

As he waltzed through the ballroom, admiring the beautiful ball gowns and fancy suits, he spotted a girl. She had the most wonderful ball gown of them all, it suck out from the eerie feel of the castle. She was, unlike the others, unmasked. She possessed unblemished pale skin, glorious red eyes, long raven black hair, and full red lips. She was breath taking. And with Kieran’s curious nature, he wanted a dance with her. The vampire king himself was this girls father.

“May I have a dance?” Kieran extended a hand to the girl and bowed. She gave an unamused look, for many men had offered her a dance tonight. None of them would dance as well as Kieran, and none were as good looking.

With a deep breath, she took his hand and they began to dance to the eerie music. Both were experts at the art of dancing, and ended up trying to compete during their dance.

“If I can dance better than you, I get to taste your blood.” The girl whispered into Kieran’s ear.

“Deal. And if I win, which I will. I get your name.” He smirked. She returned the smile and they danced until their feet were sore- each saying they had won.

After a moment of arguments, they decided they were at a tie and would dance again the next night, for this one was over. But, their meetings and dances were far from over....

And every night, they would dance to this song and boast of their own skill. Each never knowing the other’s name, and not caring. The girls youth lasted for ever, and Kieran eventually grew too old to dance. He died an alone man, for he had always loved the girl but never wanted a vampire life. Soon after Kieran’s death, the girl jumped off of the cliff by the castle. She wished to be with him, and dance once again.

It was a cold night in that castle outside the city, the dance of the masked was expected ...
Beautiful lights adorned that old building, petals of rose in the garden, candles adorned the floor of the castle and when I entering wonderful contortionists danced to the sound of music ...
When suddenly I saw a beautiful woman sitting in the background with a crimson mask, I was shocked to see that kind of beauty that radiated around her, I was curious I approach to her and began to sound this maginific piece ...
She was confused to see me and she accept a dance with me, I touch her delicate hands and we dance to the rhythm of the composition ...

They waltzed and looked into each other's eyes with a sense of longing. They then shared a passionate kiss that neither of them would ever forget. It was then that they discovered their love for each other. From then they would face many obstacles but remain inseparable

As the fluorescent light of the moon slowly began to rise, so did his heartbeat. The way it never has before, 1..2..3..1..2..3.. Her lips were the color of crimson blood and skin so fair she could compare to a doll. The fair maiden smiled so graciously that she put Aphrodite to shame, her hair of burning embers caressed her cheeks so softly you would think it was the wind. He may have been a hungry man but never hungry for love. Eyes quickly glistened as he tried so effortlessly to swiftly make his way to the fair maiden until the clock struck, immediately stopping the music when you see her turn her head you also witness the life drain out of her eyes leaving no clue whether she was terrified of the man or in love. Or yet, terrified about how much she was in love.
