Knots in 4D - Part 3

In the last part of the movie we consider ribbon knotted surfaces, which are a class of 4D knots having "simple" 3D diagrams.
We present different ways to look at the basic feature in the projections of these surfaces. Then we suggest a way to draw 2D diagrams to represent them. Some moves on the diagrams, resembling the Reidemeister moves, describe deformations of the surfaces in 4D. Yet, it is still unknown whether all the allowed deformations can be described using the moves.
In the very end we briefly present more open problems in this area.

So cool! This was definitely the most helpful (to me) of the series, in terms of understanding. Especially "Flying Rings" at 2:40.
