Racism. It Stops With Me - How old was I when I became aware of my race?
Показать описание
Many children can identify experiences of racism from a very young age. Because of this, parents have no choice but to talk to them about racism early. But studies show that white parents are far less likely to talk about race and racism with their children, and when they do, they often perpetuate false ideas around colour-blindness, teaching children ‘not to see race’.
We need to talk to children – early and often – about the role of race and racism in society.
