Sailing and diving in Indonesia we see the devastation of blast fishing and learn about coral restoration projects in Indonesia. We continue our travels in Indonesia to the more populated regions of the country where dynamite or blast fishing destroyed reefs. Local restoration projects and education help to restore some of what has been lost.

Very profound messaging of how all life is interconnected. What a contrast between a vibrant healthy coral reef compared to the area devastated by dynamite fish blasting. What took seconds to destroy, takes years to recover if it ever does. It was inspiring to see the local coral restoration project and what they do. Cool to see the whale shark too! Great that Pierre had wonderful birthday celebration!
