Paid content for @Prada. Coral reefs are often described as the rainforests of the seas, and for good reason. While they account for less than one percent of the world’s ocean, they support a whopping 25 percent of all marine species. However, rising ocean temperatures and acidification, exacerbated by adjacent impacts like destructive fishing, resource extraction, and marine pollution could cause all UNESCO World Heritage coral reefs to become functionally extinct by 2100, according to UNESCO – unless we rapidly embrace blue economies, change our behavior and relationship with the ocean and drastically reduce carbon emissions over the coming decades.

finally there is a video dedicated to Indonesia biodiversity.
Indonesia is not a joke. it contain both rich land biodiversity and the ocean biodiversity.
and on earth, there is only 2 places where you can see a rich ocean biodiversity. coral triangle and great barrier reef.

amazon is nothing to coral triangle in the size but it's always get the exposure to international eyes. but not with coral triangle.

Edit: i know coral triangle is also about Philippines, Papua New Guinea, Eastern part of Malaysia, and Northern Australia. But most of coral triangle located in Indonesia territory.

The price to go to Raja Ampat is expensive compared to other tourist destinations in Indonesia, this is one of the many methods how the Indonesian government tries to protect the marine biodiversity of Raja Ampat 🙌❤

our traditional pinisi boats explore Raja Ampat on our trips and the magical thing is that you'd never find the same thing twice. the marine life always feels new, always magnificent. we let our Tour Leaders explore and it's mesmerizing every single time.

I’m glad that the video actually included a local dive guide like Usal Mambraku instead of just focusing on the foreigner’s point of view. 👍

To those who want to witness the unspoiled beauty of Raja Ampat, you’re welcome to visit the Indonesian province of Southwest Papua, and most likely you will fly into the provincial capital of Sorong, where you might enjoy a day or two of local life.

Rajaampat is not just a centre of biodiversity, but also has many relics of human migration history. There are caves with prehistoric paintings, language diversity, and historical buildings.

Great video guys 🩵 We’ve been operating for more than 10 years in this incredible part of the world and it’s wonderful to see some content focus on conservation some of the success stories and working with local communities in Raja Ampat.

As these areas dwindle due to climate change. The value of tourism to these areas will go up and become nearly priceless. Then we'll need to manage over tourism since humans seem to love things to death 😅 sustainability is the key
