I just happened upon your channel. I’ve been doing this since the early 70’s. You’re teaching this generation to cook smarter not harder. I’ve always pre-planned and did inventory for my family. Thank you for your video

Random tip: For getting the air out of the bags, specially with items that are frozen already and hard to get flat enough to get air out of the bag. Get a big bowl [ or fill up a clean sink full ]of cold water and submerge your bag in it up to the seal, making sure to not get water into the bag. It pushes all the air out, and you can seal it right up with almost no air at all in the bag. Hope it helps!! Loved seeing what food you came up with and am curious to check out more of your videos!

You girls need to publish this as a book or e-book! Recipes, ingredient list, directions, etc

Discovered your channel over the summer and so I'd started mass making freezer meals for a "just in case I don't feel like cooking" moment. A few months later, my husband lost his job. He was out of work for three months. I'd thaw a meal at night and during the next day while i was at work, my husband would throw the meal into the slow cooker and id come home to a great meal. This really helped budget-wise as i'd already purchased and prepared the ingredients for full meals! Really a game changer! Spending my morning making a few more meals. Thank you for introducing me to this!!

This isn't an exaggeration when I say this video is literally LIFE CHANGING. I was struggling to eat due to the need for quick and easy but the high cost that comes along with it.

You outdone yourself ladies ❤️👍

Just came across your channel. I've been doing freezer meals for several years. Im now 77 years old and don't always feel like making a meal. It's just the two of us, so when I freeze meals, I divide it up into single portions. That way, if one of us wants one kind of dinner and the other wants a different kind, then it is a win-win. Thank you for teaching this to new cooks.

Using your freezer meals has been life changing. I have a large family and they are picky! I also work evening shift. Having freezer meals on hand has helped my husband and I be less stressed over what the family will eat. I love not having to cook/meal prep when I’m tired from work. I also LOVE that I cook and prep over the course of just a day or two. Thank you for providing this service!

I can’t believe you ladies ONLY have 26.6K subscribers!! I am honestly floored to see that. Y’all have such good content. Y’all should Post about the money savings…. Many people are struggling to afford their own food these days. I think it would be very helpful if y’all did a money saving tip video. Also, you can look up what type of food videos people are searching for in YouTube and then plan your videos around that and just add those key words into your video description. That also helps your algorithm.

I raised my kids on bulk cooking, even had my partner on board once he saw how easy it was. Literally go to freezer turn ctock pot or oven low, go to work, remove, feed 4 ankle biters, go to brownies, guides, scouts, swimming, soccer ect, .... Once ever 2 or 3 months use a weekend to rinse and repeat. My daughters and sons still do the same thing but on a 2 person per home scale

I'm so glad I found you. In fact, I didn't know that others did the same thing as me with food in the freezer. My friends think I'm silly but I call it Kon-Mari freezing. My zipper freezer bags stand flat vertically like books in 2 layers. The bags with labels on are put in randomly but numbered from 1 upwards with a pen, so that you know where to look for number 29 in the rows.

I print an extra set of labels kept in a binder, with the same numbers. When I plan the week's food every Sunday, I start with the binder. I can easily see what is left, find the food in the remote freezer and move it to the daily freezer, remove the label from the binder and put it on a weekly schedule on paper so that everyone can see what is on the menu every day.

Then it's super easy to make a shopping list with the fresh things I need this week. PS: I also put a time stamp on each label, because sometimes I refill the freezer with smaller quantities. Then it is easier to use the oldest first. It works for me. And yes, I actually have a fixed day at the end of each week called Leftovers, because there is usually plenty. It's always a fun day with a buffet of smaller amounts of food mixed together.

Respect for doing such a great job to make cooking easier for others.

I really enjoy these videos!❤ I know yall put in a lot of work, if I could ask if yall could consider to time stamp the recipes? That way they will be easier for us to find when we go back to make it, rather than jumping around skipping the video looking forever lol. Thanks for all the work yall do!

I am starting my second year of the Club. My husband and I are in the older years so I love the option of making only 2 servings. I also make the re ipes for 4 sometimes, then divide them into 2 packages for the freezer. I have looked at other clubs and subscriptions, but, in my opinion, this is the best and worth every penny! 😊😊😊

I found this on the internet, (of course) and I thought it quite apt.
"Who knew that the hardest part of being an adult is figuring out what to cook for dinner, every single night, for the rest of your life."
You guys have just proved this WRONG!!

OMG this is so random as I’m here prepping my Sunday prep for the rest of the week of recipes you two remind me of Laverne and Shirley. 😊

OMG Ladies!! Whew! That was so worth the wait! So many great new meals and so many fantastic FM Tips! I don't know where to start my praises! Though we don't all have "helpers" in the kitchen, we also don't have to video record a presentable show for anyone either. I'm sure this would go a heck of a lot faster if they didn't have to worry about Cameras and lighting and batteries (oh my). Then all of the editing later. I would guestimate about half of your time is taken away by Video planning, arranging and shooting. Thank you both so much for the tremendous effort on both of your parts! And a salute to all of your behind the scenes hard working helpers! I think this might be my fav session! Great job!

"Don'tcha wish your freezer looked like mine" Instant sub here based on that line LOL. I have never tried making freezer meals but, circumstances keep arising and are just continuing to get more frequent so I figured why not take a look and see what you've got. I was gonna subscribe anyway but I did laugh and hit subscribe when she said that. Ya'll are very detail-oriented but not crazy with it, I really like that!

Yall are crazy. In the best way. Well done. I'm not up to the marathons but just triple or quadruple 1 recipe at a time.
