Decided to cut the Salvation engine for this 40 card version, because playing a lot of names + Fieldspells and the chance to open with Salvation is too high in 40.
But the Barrier Statue combo compensates the power loss imo, you could also play Diabellze and nuke multiple set Spells/Traps from your opponent.
During the Tenpai game I had a more combo heavy list, with insane combos but it's really heavy on the Extra Deck.

I spent a week away from destiny hero. I cooked up an advanced crystal beast chaos deck. End board usually ended on apo, thunder dragon lock, rainbow dragon dark, chaos Angel that floats maybe a counter crystal trap or imperm, and either an eschatos or protos then call light or dark or fire depending on what I have on the field and I’ll usually call fiend or dragon. It was fun. Now back to destiny hero.

Ok this is it. This is the video. I tried crystal when conclave was viable and liked the low combos. But back then the combos were too huge for combo build. I always messed up bricked or if interrupted didnt know how to continue.

Seeing you play this deck to seemingly perfection. Im sure there are games where you brick or lose due to it not being a meta deck. But in no way could I have won any of those duels showcased here. I wouldnt even know where to start deckbuilding engines and rstios. That darkness barrier statue is spicy af

Amazing build Dread Guy! Is there any way to play the combo 40 card build without the Fiendsmith cards? They are sadly out of my budget at the moment, but would love to keep playing this deck this format.
