FFXII has one of the freaking best voice acting ever seen in gaming. Not only does the british accent sound freaking sexy, the characters also don't exaggerate like your typical anime-bullshit abominations.
Cid, Vayne, Balthier, Fran, even Ondore sound amazing, because they all have a very unique feeling to them, while also staying true to their role.

You showed no footage of voice acting, no footage of the improved music, no footage of the licence board, no footage of a gambit menu, no footage of anything you talked about. You just showed the first hour of gameplay. Did you actually play through the game or is this just an amalgamation of things often said in other reviews?

XII is my third favorite FF, (after IX and VI). So underrated. Yeah, the story is weird and the characters are not the best ones out there, but the staggering amount of content and excelent gameplay made it for me one of the best FF.

I bought this when it came out, but I was too stuck in my traditional turn-based RPGs and hated it. took it back the next day. But after accepting the fact that times have changed and loving 15, I just went and bought this one 15 minutes ago. Can't wait to get home and check it out!

FF12 is one of my key inspirations for game creation. Pre-Zodiac Age, the game was great. With the Zodiac Age being released, it felt like they were diluting it to suit the whinier players who couldn't game their way out of a paper bag and that prompted the crazy ball-bronzer players to inspire a new release that was harder but doesn't strike me as hard enough to account for the additions to make it easier.

Honestly, the game was perfect the way it was. If you remade it in full HD and added onto the content instead of changing the content, you would have something special. Little changes like allowing the players access to Rozarria and the ruins of Landis would be great bonuses. The "slow" pace of the characters was just fine and it coming with a speed up feature is one of the benefits I call "whiny". Taking your time is one of the best parts of the game as you can get a 180+ hour game file without even being done with all the content.
