If you look at the chains in this intro as the "chains of fate", you can see how each set of chains depicts the character they're around.
Mista's chians are all around him, but also, far away from him, symbolising him not caring about his fate, and how he prefers to enjoy the simple things in life
Trish is shown falling through a helix of chains, showing how she has never had any control over her fate, being Diavolos duaghter has set her on a path she gets no say in.
Abbachio is seen in an hourglass, telling us that his time is running out.
Both Narancia and Bucciarati are seen walking directly towards the chains, saying that they accept their fate, and march toward their deaths.
Fugo has no chains in his bit, indicating that he really is not important in the story.
Finally, it shows Giorno turning said chains into vines, showing that he is the one who will defy fate, and make his own path in life.

i cant be the only one who thinks the snippet of animation with the chains from 0:53 to 0:55 is the best part of the whole animation right? its so smooth and fluid and its really well done, best part of the actual song is definitely the scream part at 1:05, something about the emotion put into that one line is so so nice

Using this opening you can predict the deaths of this part.
For Giorno, Mista and Trish they stand between the chains meaning they are between their fates and haven't reached the end of it.
For Abbacchio, Bucciarati and Narancia the chains cross over them.
Abbacchio stands in a hourglass with chains flowing out symbolising his fate is running out.
Bucciarati continues to walk and stand in defiance as the chains(his fate) try to stop him.
Narancia's face continues to grow darker when ever a chain washes over him symbolising that his fate like, Abbacchio's is running out.
