Dyrus Short VLOG Saturday October 17 2015

I had nothing to give you guys today, so I decided to make a vlog in place talking about some of the things on my mind and what I plan to do for the next few weeks.

I finally have two monitors and I will be moving into the new house with oddone when we find it.

I will be doing challenger 1-30 once in awhile and I will also be playing some csgo competitive with a goal of trying to reach global elite without getting carried.

I will also be giving out skins and stuff in the future for csgo as a thanks to my subscribers and I will also play with subs on the leveling account.

Whenever I've watched dyrus before he's always quiet and doesn't talk but it's not because he's boring or not funny it's purely because he's tryharding. When he started the 1-30 thing he just relaxed more and didn't care about winning which just helped him talk more and I found it super funny.

Dyrus, I think you should be yourself on stream. Some people may think your jokes are cringe, or you don't talk enough, or whatever else...but if that's who you really are, then I think most of us would be perfectly happy with that. No one is the perfect streamer. Just don't try to put a complete act, otherwise it'll probably start getting less fun for you.

Legit I think you made that guys day just playing with him and it was great seeing you laugh and smile even if you felt like you let your guard down. As for the thought process videos OddOne does that of stream so he isn't distracted by chat/music. As for the talking on stream more the reason you are stuttering is because you are trying to hard to think about what to say, just relax and talk like we aren't there or do what OddOne does and just talk random shit (I'm a sub of OddOne's on twitch so maybe a little biased), really though the general concensious here is that people really don't care about the cringey jokes and stuff they just want you to open up more and will prob enjoy the things you worry about the most and it will surprise you.

If you want to improve your stream just find something that you enjoy and keep trying to get better at it. Don't try to be someone you're not though. It's a natural process where you develop as a streamer and a lot of people love you for your personality and how laid-back you are. Sometimes I just enjoy having your stream on, cause I know that you're not going to burst out screaming all of the sudden like some other streamers. It's just relaxing to watch you.

So one thing I think would suit you very well would be trying to focus more on explaining your thought process and helping people to get better. You have more experience than most people and you could give lots of high value insight into League.

I really enjoyed the Gragas jungle video you created and that's something you could continue doing and improving on.

But keep in mind, that your enjoyment and happiness is still the most important thing to watch out for.

I personally would love to see you talk more during streams or explain your thought process about picks and how to play certain match ups and stutter less but i never EVER want you to STOP being Dyrus, bc at then end of the day Dyrus is someone ive grown to love and learned so much from and always looked up to you. If you want to change yourself, do it because you want it, not because you feel pressured to do so or because you fell like you owe anyone anything.
Changing yourself, learning and growing can be wonderful if you do it for the right reasons, that's when you can actively enjoy it.
