I did the 9 fridays and 5 saturdays for 18 consecutive months 17 yrs ago. That means 2x9 fridays and 3x5 saturdays. Of course i really wanted to obtain the promise, but i remember i was so eager to give some love and relief to Jesus and Mary. I did not understand how or why, but the fact that Jesus and Mary were so pleased by these devotions was enough. I remember making them my top priority and go out of my league to not miss a single one. I also remember that so many things came up to try to stop me. I remember working on fridays, and have to rush to find a church with a late mass, to confess and take the Eucharist! God bless!
