Two construction workers were injured when a large crane toppled over into part of Everett Mall that was under construction

As a construction worker with over 15 years of experience, I can say with absolute certainty that that is, in fact, a crane.

Looks like a room below the crane was ruptured into. Trucks dont just fall into solid ground, and crane operators done tend to outrig over... not solid ground

Since the crane chassis is not elevated it is likely that that the outriggers on the side of the building were either not deployed or they sunk into soft ground. Too bad the camera angle takes no respect to the most obvious curiosity.

Did the front right stabilizing arm snap off or plunge into the ground? 🤔 I wonder it there was a room or other void there so the ground wasn't solid as they thought it might be? I was a nice new looking crane though. 👌
