I remember I would listen to the Pikachu version of this song when I was just a kid with no friends back when I lived in Virginia. I would always listen to it if I was feeling lonely and needed something to cheer me up, and listening to this beautiful song along with Pikachu never failed. Nowadays, I listen to it to appreciate the cultural story behind the lyrics.
