The RRM cabinet was always nice and sturdy, but three noteworthy improvements that I see are...
(1) Removing those screws from the control panel is a massive improvement, especially for those who want to put custom artwork there.
(2) The keyboard drawer looks like a very nice improvement as it looks like it is easier to open.
(3) The ability to have artwork on the kick panel instead of being forced to have the coin door opening is fantastic.

Very nice! I’d love to see the controller wire management and that sweet looking monitor mount mechanism on the new one. Looked like it was easier to install and had more adjustment

Old is gold and i am still loving my cabinet. I just wish i could have gotten the pinball machine version.

It's great to see Rec Room Masters back online. Overall, big improvement without the screws on the control panel. Nice update on the drawer door as well. Hopefully, you can update the keyboard tray as well. I had to modify mine with a real metal drawer slide and panel.

One thing I don't like much from the new cabinet is the way the 2 top speaker are cut on the panel above the monitor. Even with the speaker cover, you can see the round inside cut of the wood panel. The old one has a better design and it is fully black. Also, it will be great to have more controller layout. Brook Board instead of I-Pac 2. Vewlix layout with 8 buttons on 2 rows are much popular I believe. I had a X-arcade Tankstick for a very long time and personally don't like the 3 buttons rows layout at all. Anyway, I bought a RRM arcade cabinet 3-4 years ago and it is holding great. I love it!

I have my sit down cabinet and it's still holding strong. The biggest issue I have is maintenance. I did purchase a tempered glass instead of the plexi that came with my unit, and to clean it I have to lay the cab down on it's side and disassemble the upper half to get the glass out (you'd do the same if it was plexi). Also, I realized I put in a dowel the top that made it difficult to replace artwork for the marquee. But all in all, still a good cab!

Questions I had, are you guys planning on 1), releasing a sit-down version like the old Xtension? and 2) will you be providing the “fighter” control panel, with the Sanwa parts and Vewlix layout?

Am i understanding correctly that the vinyl graphics do not come already applied to the cabinet and you have to add it yourself? Even after paying the extra fee for adding graphics? The old version came shipped with the graphcs already applied when i payed extra for it.

Glad to see RRM is back! I was a little skeptical at first with new ownership, but it looks like the quality will still be there and even improvements are being made. I have a controller question... can the Emulator Edition PLUS be slightly customized? I would love to get this controller, but I gotta have those 2 bottom buttons found on the regular Emulator Edition for several games. I would swap my current one out for that in a second.

so like if you buy the kit with the game artwork lke the street fighter 3 3rd strike or like the darkstalkers ressurection i was wondering if the artwork comes preinstalled onto the cabinet pieces when you buy or if it comes with adhesive sheets that i would have to apply to the cabinet itself when building, thanks
