In today's video, I am talking about what I will do about my son's school. Waldorf schools typically have separate grade levels students progress through, while Montessori classrooms often mix age groups in the same space. In Waldorf schools, one teacher usually stays with the same group of students as they move from grade to grade, while Montessori schools generally assign different teachers to each classroom. Both approaches value learning through play, but Waldorf tends to focus on imaginative play, while Montessori views play as an essential form of work. Waldorf education fosters individuality, yet it follows a more teacher-directed approach to learning, while Montessori gives children more autonomy in designing their own curriculum.
