This video shows a RecurDyn simulation of the transition from stage 2 to stage 3 of a tooling machine for aluminum can production.
In this video, you can compare the Yaw angles returned by the model featuring rigid pads and the model featuring flexible pads (2nd model).
The Yaw angle measures misalignment between the can orientation (black line) and the manipulator (blue line), confirming that Yaw is controlled by friction.
