How to Delete All Unread Mails in Gmail at Once

How to delete all unread emails in Gmail, or how to mark all unread emails as read in Gmail account.

Sometimes having a large number of unread emails annoys you and it also looks ugly and confusing to you, this video shows you to delete and mark as read all the unread emails in Gmail.

How to Delete Unread Emails in Gmail Instantly
1. Go to the search box of Gmail.
2. Type is:unread and then select mails.
3. It will now ask to select all emails with the matching condition.
4. Select all emails and hit delete.

You can also mark as read if you want to make them look read.

Deleting unread emails will free the space in your Google account. And you will not get the "running out of space in Gmail" message.

After doing the “is: Unread” search I couldn’t find the message “select all conversations that match this search criteria”, I realized I was selecting “Unread” again from the small drop down menu instead of selecting “all” after which the “select all conversations ….” Correctly appeared and bingo, all done.
